Hand-Turned Scrap Wood Bottle Stoppers | Artisan Hardwood Bar & Wine Gifts

There is something special about a stopper made from scraps. Specifically, Sar builds these hand-turned bottle stoppers from the offcuts, end pieces, and odds and ends in our Tucson workshop. Sar quarters, glues, and stacks these scraps into full-sized blanks. This technique turns waste into something worth keeping. Consequently, the finished handle looks like a bold, architectural craft beer tap. No single piece of wood could produce this level of character on its own.
Furthermore, every stopper in this collection is a glue-up. This means Sar builds the blank by hand before touching the lathe. Granted, this process takes far more time than turning a single piece of wood. However, the final results justify the price. In fact, you cannot fake the contrasting grains, crisp black lines, and layered visual depth.
Because we draw from 55-gallon bins of mixed workshop scrap, the exact wood species remains a happy mystery. Nevertheless, Sar personally handles and selects every piece of wood for its unique look.
Moreover, the shapes range from striped cylinders and tapered cones to barrel forms, spool silhouettes, and torpedo profiles. As a result, each piece is genuinely one of a kind.
Ultimately, these make exceptional gifts for craft beer lovers and wine enthusiasts. Pair them with our handcrafted charcuterie boards for a complete bar gift set.

A standout gift for craft beer lovers and wine enthusiasts. $60 each.
