He chooses wood with tight, stable grain patterns from trusted sources like Cook Woods. He turns each piece to precise tolerances that account for how the wood will move over time. He applies finishes that will protect and nourish the wood through thousands of uses.
This isn’t just craftsmanship — it’s a philosophy. We believe kitchen tools should be companions, not consumables.
