At 9 inches, these stirrers are sized to reach the bottom of a deep pot without steaming your hand — long enough to work, short enough to control. The working end is broad and slightly curved to lift pasta cleanly, move risotto without tearing it, and turn rice evenly in the pan. Every edge is smooth. Every curve is intentional.

Rex has been working wood for over 40 years. That experience shows most clearly in the details: the way a handle taper fits the palm, the way a carved element adds grip exactly where you need it, the way the grain of the wood becomes part of the design rather than an afterthought.

All stirrers are finished with Wood Butter — our own blend of food-grade beeswax and mineral oil, mixed in the workshop. It's food-safe, conditioning, and brings out the warmth of the grain beautifully. To keep your stirrer in peak condition, re-apply Wood Butter every few months or when the wood looks or feels dry.
