When Things Need to Be Made Right
Craftsmanship Issues: If your piece arrives with any defect or doesn’t meet our quality standards, we’ve got you covered. Rex will first work his magic to repair it, and if that’s not possible, we’ll create a similar replacement piece with the same love and attention to detail.
What You’ll Need: Just your receipt or proof of purchase — we keep good records too, so don’t worry if you can’t find it right away.
Our Lifetime Pen Guarantee
Your custom pen giving you trouble? Send it back to us. Rex treats every pen like it’s his own, so he’ll fix it first, and if that’s not possible, he’ll craft you a new one. (Pro tip: Check the refill first — all our pens are refillable, and sometimes that’s all they need!)
Items We Can’t Take Back
We wish we could, but these just aren’t returnable:
- Gift cards (they’re forever, like our friendship)
- Complimentary items like candles or glass holders that come with your purchase
- Custom order deposits — once we’ve bought your specific wood and materials, that investment stays with your project
Custom Orders: What You Should Know
When you place a custom order, your initial payment goes toward sourcing your specific materials — that beautiful piece of walnut or mesquite doesn’t wait around! You can cancel before we complete your piece, but the material costs stay with us. Once your custom piece is finished, you’re welcome to return it under our same quality guarantee.
The Practical Stuff
Return Shipping: We ask that you cover shipping costs to send items back to us. If that feels like a burden, drop us a line — we believe in fairness and will work something out together.
Refund Timeline: Once we approve your return, expect your refund within 5 business days to your original payment method.
