Highly recommend PayPal’s POS system as it works well with WooCommerce sites and inventory control at events and online. https://my.zettle.com/

Small Business courses and grants: https://dashboard-digitalready.verizonwireless.com/ and https://www.weareluminary.com/home
Small Business Liability Insurance: https://www.hiscox.com/ Very responsive to calls and chats!

Molds/Micas is always going to be: https://ptownsubbie.com/ first!
Resin: https://alumilite.com/ is my go to. I have tried other cheaper brands and even some more expensive ones. I came back to Alumilite and now I’m sticking with them. Specifically I can use and recommend: Amazing Clear Cast Epoxy, Amazing Mold Maker, Clear Slow, and Amazing Resin Remover for clean up!
Zac is my go to for all things Resin, but especially for pressure pot information. I learned how to do pressure pot casting from these videos and more. He is at: https://www.youtube.com/@ZacHiggins for more videos!

I know he has made a new one, I learned on and can highly recommend Jake’s first tutorial:How to Stabilize Wood and Why Should You do it?
Jake can be found at: https://www.youtube.com/@JakeThompson
These two guys have been on YouTube long enough that you can watch them age in a loop all day.
Speaking of Stabilizing, however: https://turntex.com/ Only Cactus Juice will do.
Purchasing Wood:
Always, always, always have a local wood supplier. Saw mills hide in plain sight and local woodworking stores actually exist. Our local store is: https://www.woodworkerssource.com/ it also has Phoenix and Tempe locations but Tucson will always be my first love. I highly recommend looking in the bargain bin!
If you have read anything about our journey in woodworking then you have heard of https://www.cookwoods.com/. They are by far my first place to look for exotic woods. While we have had some bumps and bruises with customer service at times I do sincerely believe they do their best and the quality of their wood is amazing 99.99% of the time.
Finally from Dawn the three suppliers we use most for woodworking kits, when we aren’t making bespoke item, these are in order of preference:
This is not to say that we don’t look elsewhere for kits and we have bought from individual makers over the years but typically this is where I shop first.

Website: https://odd-duck.net/ Janice has re-designed our site and I love it. Her website also has great resources. Our website is a WordPress and WooCommerce free one. I have added plugins to make it more us:
I do use AI typically for editing, spelling, grammar of descriptions. I write the copy and get Claude.ai to edit it then read his version and then edit it again. Content is always more human than AI but I much prefer Claude to other AI because I can make sure it is that way.
