Looking Ahead: What We’re Building in 2026
This year didn’t go as planned. Technical issues plagued our website, health setbacks and financial challenges kept us off the road more than we’d hoped, and—honestly—we only had one online sale all year. But here’s what matters: we’re still here, we’re learning, and we’re moving forward.
Starting This Friday: Our End of Year Sale
Before we dive into next year, we want to thank those of you who’ve stuck with us. December 26th through January 1st, we’re offering up to 50% off select items and 20% off any cart over $25 with code EOY2025.
We Need Your Honest Feedback
We’re working with Janice at Odd Duck to completely refresh our website, but we need to understand what’s holding you back. I’ve created a quick survey below—your answers will directly shape how we build our online presence in 2025.
Key questions we need answered:
- When you browse handcrafted wood items online, what makes you click “buy”?
- Are our current prices in line with what you’d expect for handcrafted work?
- For handmade functional art, do you prefer to buy in person where you can touch and feel the piece?
- What would make you choose our work over other artisans?
- Don’t see what you want to say? Contact us!
What’s Changing in 2026
Pricing: We’re adjusting prices to reflect material and shipping costs, BUT we’re making checkout simpler—the price you see will be the price you pay. No surprise fees, no tax added at checkout, shipping included.
Product Line: Rex is expanding his repertoire with new techniques and more intricate carved spoons (yes, even fancier than the caged ball pieces!).
Show Schedule: We’re focusing on quality over quantity—no more than two shows per month. Here’s where you’ll find us:
- Two Rivers Renaissance Faire, Yuma, AZ (late Jan/early Feb)
- Tucson Museum of Art’s Artisan Fair Tucson, AZ (late Feb/early Mar)
- London Bridge Renaissance Festival, Lake Havasu (May)
- Medieval Mayhem, Show Low (Summer)
Know of a Southwest festival we should consider? Let us know in the comments or through our contact form.
The Bottom Line
We make things meant to be touched, used, and treasured. Maybe that’s why online sales are tough—you can’t run your fingers over the grain of reclaimed mesquite through a screen. But we want to make it easier for those of you who do connect with our work online to bring it into your homes.
Your feedback over the next week will shape everything about how we show up in 2025. Thank you for taking the time.
